For the First Baptist Church family members, the opportunity to work on the community Habitat House is something very special. This is our time to express ourselves in ministry. The workday starts at 8:00 am with lunch at noon and morning and afternoon breaks. Habitat for Humanity will provide all the tools. It is very possible that we will be painting on our assigned Saturday. This will be a great day of ministry and fellowship. Regardless of your skill level join the First Family Habitat House Team. We have not been assigned a work date at this time. You can show your interest in this one day project by contacting the church office at 940-549-2360 or email info(at)fbcgraham.com.
This acronym stands for “Small Maintenance and Repair Team.” This is a team composed of primarily retired men who give of their time in local ministry to help with small repairs in homes throughout our community. They make no charge for their labor and serve those, who for various reasons, cannot have necessary repairs made by local contractors. Not only do they share their gifts of service with those they aid, but they also share the message of Christ and His indescribable love.
Volunteers meet with local nursing home residents to share comfort, encouragement and celebration through song and scripture.
Volunteers meet with inmates several times each week for worship, prayer and encouragement.
First Baptist services are broadcast live on local cable. That undertaking requires reliable and committed volunteers.
