Summer Mission Trips

This summer we have two mission opportunities.  We are now gathering names of those interested in being on one or both of our summer mission teams. If you're interested in either mission trip, we encourage you to fill out the form below. This is not a sign up form, but just indicates interest.  Someone from FBC will follow up with you to provide more details.

Our goal is  to send a team of 30-40 people Amarillo to assist City Church of Amarillo to prepare and distribute approximately 2,000 freshly made lunches each day to impoverished children in the area surrounding downtown Amarillo.  This has all the makings of a great mission opportunity.  Our missionaries will help meet the hunger needs of those they come in contact with.  While delivering the lunches missionaries will have the opportunity to be involved in personal evangelism.  We will leave Sunday, June 17, immediately following the morning services and return Friday, June 22.  Cost is 45.00/week per person (room and board).  To learn more about City Church Amarillo you can go to their website citychurchamarillo.com

This mission opportunity is about 5 miles out of Cloudcroft, New Mexico.  We will be taking around 40 people to do construction, backyard Bible school and adult Bible study. Construction team will do repairs to buildings from last year’s winter storm. We may be taking cooking team to prepare meals.  We will stay in the Aspen Cabin, which has a dorm on each side, with a meeting room in the center separating the men and women.  You can visit the retreat center’s website @ Aspendale.org. The camp does have Wi-Fi for those who need to do some work while they are there.
